Use

1. Sterilization or Pasteurization
   To grow Panaeolus cyanescens “Jamaica” Liquid Culture successfully, a clean and nutrient-rich substrate is essential. Because this species grows primarily on manure, it is important to sterilize or pasteurize the substrate to kill unwanted bacteria and fungi.

   Pasteurization (recommended): Heat the substrate (such as horse or cow manure mixed with straw) to 60-70°C for 1-2 hours using steam or a hot water bath.
   Sterilization: Use an autoclave or pressure cooker to thoroughly sterilize the substrate, especially if you are using grain substrates.

2. Inoculation of the Substrate
   After pasteurization, let the substrate cool to room temperature. Next, you can use the Panaeolus cyanescens “Jamaica” Liquid Culture to inoculate the substrate.    Temperature: Maintain a stable temperature between 22-26°C.
   Lighting: Although Panaeolus cyanescens does not require intense light, indirect daylight or a weak grow light stimulates mushroom formation.
5. Harvesting – When are the Mushrooms Ready?
   After 2-4 weeks, mushrooms begin to form. Panaeolus cyanescens “Jamaica” is known for its small but vigorous fruiting bodies with a thin stem and a curly cap.
